The Twin Six Foot Diameter Garden Aviary with the Double Safety Catch is best used where at least on of the aviaries will be used to house flighted birds or where escape is a concern. The Double Mounting Safety Catch bolts directly up to the door panels of each of the Garden Aviaries. Once inside the Safety Catch area, simply open the door to either the right or the left for access to that aviary.

Its roomy size and attractive price makes it a great choice for an outdoor play area for up to three large birds or 4 to 5 medium size birds per aviary. Want to house a colony of finches, cockatiels, love birds, budgies, or parakeets? This is a great way to do that and still have a spacious play area for your favorite pets. Each aviary will comfortably accommodate up to 35 small birds.

You will need 112 one foot by one foot concrete pavers (structure uses an area of 6 ft. X 15 1/2 ft.) from your local home improvement store to make a base for this unit. Please take your time and make sure you lay them down level before you assemble the aviary. Existing concrete slabs or wood decks also make great bases. If you are pouring your own slab you will need a rectangular slab measuring 6 ft. 3 in. X 16 ft. Simply hose it off every day or two and presto; the clean up is done!

Safety Catches:  It is highly recommended that you order a Suncatcher safety catch at the same time you order a Suncatcher cage if a safety catch is desired.  Shipping and handling is free for safety catches if ordered with a Suncatcher cage.  If a safety catch is ordered later, additional freight charges apply and tend to be in the $200-300 range.
