About CagesByDesign.com

After nearly a decade of building cages for personal use, CagesByDesign.com was established in 1998 as an enclosure manufacturer. We have been selling directly to customers online, over the phone, and in person all over the United States ever since. This way, we get valuable feedback directly from customers about what it is they are looking for in our products.

Shortly after incorporation we began a mission to design and develop the most complete, versatile, attractive, and affordable cage system available. We spent many years talking directly with thousands of customers listening to their needs as well as continuously revising our cage design. Once we had a good understanding of what customers want both by caring for various types of animals in our own cages, as well as gathering feedback from customers, we started a blueprint for the perfect cage system.

We wanted a system that was affordable, mobile, and light enough for the average person to be able to fit in their home or office, durable enough for commercial use, and attractive enough to be a museum quality display. Over the past ten years we have worked tirelessly to design, modify, and re-design our new cage system. We have used over a dozen engineers, tested countless prototypes and materials, used computer generated strength analysis, and spent thousands of hours on our design to ensure it has the proper strength, durability, and functionality.

We do not stop with an excellent cage design; we also back it up with a range of custom options and accessories we developed by gathering input from our customers. We understand that every animal is different, and everyone has a different set of circumstances. Our goal is to do what we can to suit your individual needs. We have all the options and accessory items available to create a complete habitat from start to finish for practically any circumstance.
